Why Is Key West “The Place to Visit”? – Part I

Key West is a subtropical paradise, located in southern Florida. People who have visited the city are familiar with the cultural diversity, the distinctive convergence of history, the natural splendor, architecture, climate, and the romantic appeal the city has to offer.

Amid all this, Key West is hot and happening – it is a place of fascinating contrasts, always brimming with life, candor, and energy! So what else makes Key West so special? Let’s take a look

Fantastic Beaches

Oh yes! This might sound redundant, but Key West gets the party going with some splendid beaches. People from all over the States visit this spectacular city to enjoy the warm waters, or simply 5indulge in long walks at the beach. Whether you like to build sand castles, lounge on your beach chair, sip soda out of a koozie-covered can, or hold hands with your significant other while you watch the sun set – you just can’t miss out on Key West beaches.

Those Amazing Festivals!

If you’re not a beach person, (that’s kind of hard for us to digest) you can always head out to one of the countless festivals the city hosts. There is always something happening in Key West. Celebrate Easter in Key West with the underwater egg hunt, or visit the city in October to attend the Fantasy Fest – the ultimate Halloween celebration.

The Awesome Water Sports

With great beaches comes the added advantage of water sports. Key West offers every possible water adventure you can think of. Sailing, fishing, cruising, diving, snorkeling, parasailing, wakeboarding, and surfing – it’s all right here! There’s a lot more than just that.

Natural Sites and National Parks

Take sea adventures to visit the dolphins, and witness the turtles in all their glory. Head over to the Dry Tortugas National Park, or stop 6by the Key West Butterfly and Nature Conservatory. Take a close look at the amazing wildlife of the island – it’s not every day that you have a blue and gold macaw perched on your fore arm in broad daylight!

We know you’re enjoying reading all this – and we hate ending it here. But we’ll be back with more highlights on the Key West Island. We hope to see you out here soon – (who’d want to miss out on fun, frolic, and gorgeous beaches).
